About Nora Wright
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here
I am passionate about offering an inspiring, highly supportive sanctuary for individuals, couples, and parents stepping across life’s biggest thresholds.
Whether you are navigating a personal transition, working to deepen your partnership, or stepping into the profound journey of family building, I believe you deserve a space that holds both your humanity and your highest potential.
You don't have to navigate these big moves alone. I am here to offer a grounded, gentle, and expert harbor for your journey.
My three foci
My practice is built around three core pillars, designed to meet you right where you are.
Integrative Individual Coaching & Somatic Healing
Grounded, one-on-one partnerships for adults navigating major life transitions, identity shifts, or deep-seated patterns. We combine goal-oriented life design with deep emotional exploration and somatic nervous system regulation.
Relational & Couples Coaching (Gottman & EFT)
Research-backed, compassionate guidance for couples across all stages of partnership who want to break out of repetitive arguments, repair disconnection, rebuild trust, and cultivate lasting intimacy.
Specialized Family Building & Transition to Parenthood
Proactive, evidence-based preparation for growing families, offering specialized programs for couples expecting biologically as well as tailored, high-level support for intended parents navigating gestational surrogacy and third-party reproduction.
Training & background
Clinical rigor meets somatic wisdom
My work sits at the energizing intersection of strategic systems design, clinical training, and deep somatic healing. Holding a Master in Social Work (MSW) alongside a Master in Regional Planning (MRP) from Cornell University, I view individuals, couples, and family structures as dynamic, living systems. I believe that true transformation requires both rigorous expertise and genuine human warmth.
Over my 20-year career, I have facilitated transformative retreats, taught as an adjunct professor at Boston University and Northeastern University, and guided clients through high-stakes life shifts. My foundation includes advanced training in:
- Couples & Relational Work: Extensively trained in Dr. Sue Johnson’s attachment-oriented Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. Certified to deliver Gottman's core workshops: Bringing Baby Home and The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.
- Communication & Negotiation: Advanced negotiation and communication coaching informed by training from the Harvard Program on Negotiation.
- Perinatal & Infant Attachment: Specialized training in perinatal mental health, lactation consulting, HypnoBirthing, and infant sleep science.
- Systems & Resolution: Court-system mediation and participatory systems design.
To support your whole self, I am equally passionate about the wisdom of the body. I completed intensive one-on-one training directly with the founder of Pravada Shamanic Sound Healing, incorporating this powerful, IFS-informed somatic modality to help clients quiet mental noise, release stored stress, and awaken deep self-trust. I am also a certified Kundalini yoga teacher and incorporate Mayan massage and craniosacral therapy into my holistic work.

International experience & grounded presence
Alongside my clinical and coaching background, I bring over a decade of international hospitality experience, from running a boutique bed and breakfast in the United States to creating Ashram del Bosque, a peaceful retreat sanctuary. Having lived, worked, and facilitated healing internationally across cultures, I bring a global perspective, deep cross-cultural empathy, and a natural gift for creating spaces where people feel truly held, nourished, and safe.
Today, I live and practice in the serene cloud forest of Mexico. Surrounding myself with this living landscape deeply informs my work, anchoring my approach in presence, quiet listening, and a profound reverence for nature and our fundamental human biology.
